What are the reasons for the failure of capacitors?
For low-voltage power capacitors, there are mainly the following reasons that can lead to failure:
1. Dielectric breakdown (no self-healing)
2. The dielectric material changes due to factors such as environment and temperature
3. Medium leakage
4. Internal circuits and terminals are broken or damaged.
5. For electronic circuit capacitors, in addition to the above reasons, reverse connection and overvoltage can also lead to failure.
Film capacitors are widely used in analog circuits. Especially in the part of signal connection, it is necessary to use capacitors with good frequency characteristics and extremely low dielectric loss, so as to ensure that the signal will not be too distorted during transmission.
