As a high-performance energy storage device, supercapacitors feature fast charging, high energy density, and a cycle life of over a hundred thousand times, making them widely applied in modern electronic devices, electric vehicles, renewable energy systems, and other fields.
Supercapacitors play a crucial role in the automotive industry, particularly in extremely cold conditions where they exhibit irreplaceable advantages. In temperatures as low as -40°C, other electronic components such as batteries cannot function. However, supercapacitors perform well in low temperatures and can provide energy, making them indispensable in such conditions where other electronic components fail.

While lead-acid batteries serve as the main power source in new energy vehicles, auxiliary power sources are essential. Without auxiliary power, doors cannot open, and normal vehicle operation is compromised.
Some auxiliary power sources still use lead-acid batteries, which have drawbacks such as large weight and short actual usage time. Supercapacitors, on the other hand, offer longer cycle life and usage time, potentially replacing lead-acid batteries and addressing the issue of frequent battery replacements in new energy vehicles within 1 to 2 years.
With their long usage time and excellent low-temperature characteristics, supercapacitors can last as long as the vehicle, provided there are no issues. However, it's crucial to choose branded, legitimate supercapacitors with after-sales services. Using non-standard, miscellaneous brand supercapacitors may lead to more problems than benefits, resulting in a loss rather than gain.
