The role of NTC thermistor:
For negative temperature coefficient (NTC) thermistor, the resistance value will change with the temperature change of 3~5%/℃. It is often used as a general temperature sensor in electronic equipment. For example, a smart phone uses a negative temperature coefficient (NTC) thermistor to measure the temperature inside the smart phone, and then uses this temperature information to control the temperature.
Matters needing attention in measuring thermistor:
1. Do not touch the components and circuit boards during the measurement, because your body temperature will affect the measurement results. Try to avoid breathing into the module and restrict the air flow near the module.
2. The NTC thermistor should be placed near the measurement area. If the thermometer is far away from the measurement area, the temperature of the measurement area may be different from the temperature of the thermometer.
3. Refer to the resistance and temperature table, and pay attention to the specific value of the measured temperature.
4. Since it is difficult to make high-accuracy measurements in the air, it is recommended to measure the resistance value in a liquid bath to ensure high accuracy.
